Publishing a research paper, case study, or short communication in a peer-reviewed journal is a crucial step towards building a repository of knowledge. With the abundance of information available today, it is essential to help readers and researchers identify and access high-quality information. The publication serves as a reflection of the author’s quality work and the support provided by the publishers. At ISSI Consultancy Services, we acknowledge the significance of ethical publication practices, and we have established ethical standards for all parties involved, including authors, peer reviewers, editors, and publishers.

Handling Publication Misconduct:
We establish a Publication Ethics Committee (PEC) that provides guidance to editors and publishers on publication ethics, including the handling of research and publication misconduct cases. The PEC serves as a forum for stakeholders to discuss such cases and promotes the investigation of cases by appropriate expert teams.
Plagiarism:
We uphold the principle of publishing only original content in all our journals. This means that the content should not have been published in any other journal or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. It also includes self-plagiarism, i.e., the manuscript content should not be submitted or stored on any URL/Database/Website before submission to us. We do not accept any form of plagiarism and if detected, it will be reported to all concerned parties, and appropriate measures will be taken, including imposing plagiarism penalties. All corrected articles will be checked again to ensure they are free from plagiarism.
Duplicate Submission or redundant publication:
Submitting a manuscript to multiple publishers simultaneously is considered an unethical academic practice. Such an act is not only a waste of the time and resources of editors and other parties involved, but it also exacerbates the issue of slow editorial review. In the event that a scientific article is discovered to have been previously reviewed or published elsewhere, penalties for duplicate submissions will be imposed. The extent of the penalty will be determined by the Publication Ethics Committee (PEC). In the event that contributors have utilized their previously published or under-review work as the basis for a new submission, they are required to properly cite and reference the prior work and demonstrate how the new work adds novel contributions beyond the previous work.
Improper Author Attribution:
It is mandatory for all authors mentioned in the article to have made substantial scientific contributions and have validated all the claims made in the research. The list of authors should include all individuals, such as students, professors, lecturers, laboratory assistants, and technicians, who have contributed significantly to the research.
Data Falsification:
If any submitted research materials are found to have fabricated experimental results, there will be a penalty for falsification determined by the Publication Ethics Committee (PEC).
Citation Manipulation:
Articles that manipulate citations to artificially increase the number of citations to a particular author’s work or articles published in a specific journal will be subject to penalty. These penalties will be determined by the Publication Ethics Committee (PEC).
